Executive coach Martha Walker is owner of Martha Walker, LLC, providing coaching, training, facilitation and business consulting services since 2006. Martha uses her extensive business experience to make a profound difference for business leaders, their employees and their families, both in company performance and in quality of life.


Since founding BlackSwan7, Martha has served as a CEO Group Chair for Vistage International, the world’s leading CEO membership organization. She has been responsible for building and facilitating groups of chief executives and business owners who meet monthly to discuss their business issues, develop strategy and share expertise. In private meetings, she provided each member with accountability and support to improve the member’s business performance and personal leadership skills.

Also since founding BlackSwan7, Martha has served as general manager for My Personal Puzzle, a subsidiary of Package Right Corporation, North America’s largest contract manufacturer of jigsaw puzzles and board games. Her strategic contributions and leadership guidance led to the company’s profitable sale in 2015.

Martha started her business career at Clintec Nutrition Company, where she became a senior sales representative, twice winning the company’s top sales award, and eventually became product manager with responsibility for a $10 million high-profit specialty business. She was senior market manager at Baxter Healthcare, successfully managing the $22 million parenteral nutrition business and later joined Roche Diagnostics. At Roche, she advanced from product manager to manager of global strategic marketing. She ultimately became a national accounts manager and pioneered an alternate site market segment.

For six years, Martha was a business and marketing consultant, transitioning to director of marketing for Catheter Research Inc. This work led to becoming co-founder and vice president of Precura Medical, LLC, a medical device start-up company.

Martha’s current board memberships include Software Engineering Professionals (SEP) of Indianapolis and Virginia Chance School of Louisville. Previous board memberships include IndianaFIRST Robotics and the Association for Humanistic Psychology of San Francisco, the organization founded by pioneering psychologists Abraham Maslow, Carl Rogers, and Virginia Satir.

Martha earned a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in International Business from Loyola University of Chicago. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Martha has successfully completed seven marathons, as well as a solo around-the-world
